  1. NOW YOU
Write diary entries (Tagebucheinträge) for Thursday (23. April) and Friday (24. April). Each (jeder) diary entry has to be at least (mindestens) eight sentences long and needs a headline. Also, use the linking words and time words from task 1). If you need more words or help you can use the vocabulary “daily routines” in your exercise book too.
(Of course you can write more sentence if you like.)
Additional exercises (freiwillig): If you want to do more exercises (for example to practice the Simple Past or learn more English words) you can write me an email.
Week 2: 27 April - 30 April

    1. Look at the adverts (Werbeplakate) on p. 12 in your English book and find out about the clubs at Eggy. Then, match the sentence parts below. Write the complete sentences in your exercise book. (You can find the vocabulary on p. 195/196 - Theme 2.)

Example:    1. In the football club students can get fit and play football.
    1. Now pick (aussuchen) three clubs that you would like to join (beitreten) and write down why you would like to join these clubs. You can pick any of the clubs in the table on p. 12. Here’s some vocabulary to help you write your sentences:

  • learn to cook good food / healthy food
  • do lots of great experiments
  • go to Dartmoor
  • learn lots of things about camping

If you have the knowledge (Wissen) to do it on a computer and print it out, you can do that too! We want to look at all of your posters when you’re back in school.
